Custom Metal Fabrication

Outweld Industries Inc. Is committed to providing high-quality custom metal fabrication service. Our extensive experience and machine shop knowledge lets us approach custom manufacturing with confidence.

We have a skilled team of engineers, programmers, and production crew that transforms raw material into high-precision parts.

Techniques we use include:

  • Waterjet cutting
  • Plasma cutting
  • CNC machining
  • Value engineering
  • Metal deburring
  • Metal finishing
  • Welding
  • Metal forming

Water Jet Cutting

Outweld Industries features high-pressure waterjet machining and cutting with fast parts turnaround. Water compressed to 60,000 PSI is used as a precise and powerful cutting tool. Waterjet cutting is effective when working with alloys and reflective materials such as plastic, acrylic, wood, titanium, brass, and copper. Benefits include burr-free parts and no material warping and distortion.

Laser Cutting

Custom cutting of carbon steel, copper, stainless steel, and aluminum is just a short list of laser applications used for custom metal fabrication by Outweld Industries. Metal laser cutting can complement water jet cutting or serve as an alternative. The laser cutting machinery we have is designed for both short and long production runs.

Value Engineering

Outweld Industries can meet the most demanding requirements including broken parts, large orders, single day deadlines, and specialty requirements. The combinations of an automatic dual pallet loading system and expertly managed shifts ensure short and long production runs in fabrication, waterjet cutting, and laser cutting, produces parts quickly.

CNC Machining

We can machine most materials like plastics, titanium, alloy steels, stainless steel, aluminum and carbon steel. Machining can be done on any thickness of materials listed. CNC machining includes value-added services such as grinding, reaming, countersinking, counter bore, tapping, and drilling.

Other custom metal fabrications tools we use are:

  • Horizontal band saws
  • Bridgeport vertical mills
  • Multi-station dress presses
  • Vertical band saws
  • Honing machines

Metal Finishing

To keep efficiency high and turnaround time low, Outweld Industries brings the right equipment to a job. Turnaround time is shortened by finishing or de-burring after parts are laser or water jet cut. We offer a variety of metal finishing options to meet various finish pretreatment and texture requirements.

Welding is a value-added service offered by Outweld Industries that joins materials, especially metals, using coalescence. The parts are mildly melted. A filler is added that turns to a molten material that forms a bond between parts.

Types of welding done include:

  • MIG
  • Oxyfuel
  • Plasma-arc
  • Shielded
  • Spot
  • Stud
  • Submerged arc
  • TIG

Metal Forming

One of our greatest capabilities is to form parts. Forming entails bending, rolling, and shaping pieces to create the desired form. Outweld Industries has a brake press used to form ballistic parts and armor plating. Air bending is a standard method used in metal forming.
